Natural luxury hotel in South Tyrol
Authenticity & peaceful zest for life
Our luxury hotel in South Tyrol is located in the idyllic mountain village of Lüsen, a South Tyrolean pearl of tradition, authenticity, and naturalness. In our picturesque village we live South Tyrolean tradition on a daily basis and with passion. On festive occasions we proudly wear our traditional costume and play South Tyrolean folk music on traditional instruments such as the accordion, the alphorn, or the harp. Everyone knows everyone in our village of 1,500 inhabitants. We all greet each other. We love our homeland and feel safe here. Taking care of ancient farms and monuments, traditional festivals and customs, and everything that makes us what we are, in our unique natural landscape, lies close to our hearts. This feeling of being at home is something we want to preserve.
Modern amenities have long since found their way into Lüsen, but we decide what we need and what we don’t: hotel buildings and infrastructures are manageable; invasions in nature are a carefully weighed decisions; discos and pubs are something we gladly do without in favour of an undisturbed night's rest. That’s why time seems to stand still around our hotel in the Dolomites. And that’s exactly what our guests appreciate.

Modern amenities have lo…
I like to listen to rap and pop music, but I love to strum my harp and play folk music. Tradition is something beautiful that must be cultivated.
Brixen, the medieval bishop’s town
Tyrol’s oldest town can look back on more than 1,000 years of history. Brixen became the seat of the bishop back in the year 1001. The picturesque old town, with its arcades, cathedral, Hofburg, and countless other sights is always worth the visit. Situated at the weather divide between Central and Southern Europe, with both Alpine and Mediterranean influences, the best white wines of South Tyrol thrive around Brixen. From a culinary point of view, you can enjoy the perfect symbiosis of Alpine and Mediterranean delicacies. Don't miss Törggelen in autumn, which has a long tradition in this beautiful town and is popular with both young and old.
Lüsen, a place with tradition
Exploring the wonderful nature in and around Lüsen is one of the main attractions in this area. Still, we recommend heading out without your hiking boots for once and discovering the history and culture of Lüsen and the Lüsen valley. Traditional farms, old customs, and other cultural assets are waiting for you. We also recommend a visit to the prince-bishop's Mairhof farm at the entrance to the village and the Strickermühle mill, which today is used for display purposes. Folk music concerts and classical concerts are a music for your ears.
