Only a few steps behind the lovingly arranged herb garden, there are the Alpine Bathhouses Quartzite & Terra located. They bear the signature of the Lüsner mountain doctor dynasty the Ragginer, from the 18th and 19th centuries. The traditional healing and relaxation methods are applied in the treatment rooms for baths and massages, which are designed from earth elements. We continued the alpine bio-architecture from the main house to create this unique feel-good atmosphere here as well with numerous cozy nooks and romantic relaxation rooms.
As a homage to the bathhouses, we reinterpreted the traditional methods into special treatments and rituals.
The sauna ritual in the Quartzite bathhouse is a very healing methoding with pine steam, floating in the brine grotto, and a final cooling with fresh water. A treatment which we have adopted from the Ragginer, reinterpretend and developed further. Thus the bathing house riutal in three steps was created. The Ragginger herbal distillery and many cozy niches in the attic of the bathing house complete this unique experience.
A special place for deep moments of relaxation. The AquaSoleSauna in the bathhouse Terra is a concept that combines the soothing warmth of the sauna with the healing effects of brine in one ritual. It's one of the inventions of the owner Franz. Unique in it's kind it reflects the naturellness® philosophy of the Lüsnerhof. In the relaxation room with a stone fireplace, you can completely unwind, while your gaze drifts over the meadows, forests and mountains.
With private access to the salt grotto, you experience pure relaxation for body and mind in three steps and let yourself be carried away by a feeling of lightness. We recommend setting aside at least 2 hours here to fully enjoy the sauna ritual at the bathhouse for a holistic effect on your body and soul.
_STEP 1: Enter the Swiss stone pine sauna at 45°C - good for your lungs, skin and joints. The slowly rising humidity opens the pores of your skin and perfectly prepares you for the the visit in the salt water grotto, while you are overwhelmed by the natural scent of the Swiss pine.
_STEP 2: Let yourself float in the salt water grotto heated to 35°C and be soothed by the meditative underwater music and dimmed lightning. Completely weightless, you will feel your body tingle in the 15 percent salt solution. Inside the Dolomite rock grotto, the salt crystals will have a detoxifying and regenerating effect on your skin, rheutmatic complaints and muscle tensions will be alleviated. In the event of a cold, healing will be fast. A holistic sense of well-being for body and mind.
_STEP 3: Take time to rest and reflect in the graduation tower with infrared loungers while inhaling a pine and rock salt essence, or in the cozy alpine lounge with panoramic views. Enjoy the silence and newfound lightness. In the Ragginer herbal distillery there are fresh fruits, small snacks, and a variety of hearbal teas from South Tyrol at your disposal, along with a shot of homemade Swiss pine schnapps. Adjacent to the stone pine sauna, you'll also find our hommade stone pince hydrolate for applying on your body.
Suggestion: The time required fot he Alpine bathing ritual is at least 2 hours.

- Hammam massage or a full body scrub in the Rose Quartz Bath in the Alpine Bathhouse Quartzite (to cleanse and strenghten the skins defenses) - ca 20. min // 30,00 € p.P.
This special ritual is inspired by the four elements of earth, water, air and fire and was created especially for couples to strenghten and revalue relationships. A theraphist will welcome you to the Alpine Bathhouse Quartzite and accompany the ritual.
The significance of the primal elements in their application:
_FIRE: The ritual begins with an incense burning ritual, which has a regenerating and liberating effect on us by inhaling the active ingredients of armoatic, local herbs, resins and tree parts. A good start to letting go of burdens and creating space for something new.
_WATER: Carried by the warm, salty water, you can enjoy the soothing feeling of weightlessness in the salt grotto for 20 minutes. Accompanied by meditative underwater music. The tingling salt crystals on the skin have a detoxifying effect and free the body from accumulated tension.
_ EARTH: Afterwards, we invite you to a mutual or personal exfoliation in the Rose Quartz Bath.
_AIR: After a regeneration shower the therapist await you for the final 50-minute partner massage.
The intention of the ritual is to elevate our fifth essence, to free our body from oppression and to gain life energy and strength from local herbs and minerals. It helps us to regain our basic trust and the sincere ability to give love and awareness to fellow human beings.

The Ragginer lived in Lüsen in the 18th and 19th centuries. They used the power nature to heal people. In our wellness hotel in the Dolomites, we still use their recipes.
